Rosalind Morrow
PARTNER, BORDEN LADNER GERVAIS LLP

Rosalind Morrow is a partner in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. She practices corporate and securities law, with a particular emphasis on financial services and mining sector financings and acquisitions, project and government financings, and corporate governance. She also regularly represents government and private sector corporations, investors and lenders in connection with debt offerings, project financings and public-private partnerships.

Pat Koval
PARTNER, TORYS LLP

Pat Koval is a corporate director and lawyer. She recently retired as a Senior Partner of Torys LLP, where she practiced corporate and securities law, focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and governance. As well, Pat was an Adjunct Professor at University of Toronto Law School, and she currently serves on its Environmental Finance Advisory Council. Pat has a long history of volunteering in the conservation sector where, among other things, she formerly chaired the Board of World Wildlife Fund Canada, and currently serves on the boards of Rainforest Trust, Turtle Survival Alliance and the Chelonian Research Institute and on the Advisory Council of Wildlife Conservation Society. Pat is also on the Ontario Executive of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and is involved in developing programs for directors in both the business and non-profit sectors. Pat graduated from the joint MBA/J.D. program at Schulich School of Business and Osgoode Hall Law School.

Christie DeBolt

Christie DeBolt has spent 30 years in commercial property management and brokerage. She is currently part of the Behar Advisory Group as well as an independent consultant. Christie has extensive experience in volunteer fundraising for a variety of non-profit causes. She has a strong track record and keen interest in partnership development and relationship building.

 

Ed Postrozny
OWNER, BASIS WEALTH

Ed is the founder of Basis Wealth, a planning organization that helps implement financial and estate plans for business owners, professionals and their advisors. Ed is a graduate of the Ivey Business School, HBA and holds several other designations, CFP, CLU and CHFC. He is a member of The Legacy Wealth Coach Network and co-author of the book, The Future of You.

 

Gillian Mason
PRINCIPAL, GILLIAN MASON CONSULTANCY

Gillian Mason is an urban planner with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Public Administration from Western University. Gillian’s career has spanned more than 25 years as a senior executive in the non-profit sector, including as President of ABC Life Literacy Canada, Executive Director of the Centre for City Ecology, Senior Vice President of the then United Way Toronto, and CEO of the Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management. Having worked locally, nationally and internationally, Gillian is now Principal of Gillian Mason Consultancy in Toronto. Gillian’s volunteer work has included serving as Chair of the Toronto Public Library Board and as Vice Chair of the Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation Board.

 

John MacKenzie
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER/SECRETARY-TREASURER, TORONTO AND REGION CONSERVATION AUTHORITY (TRCA)

John MacKenzie is the Chief Executive Officer at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and a Director on the Board of Toronto and Region Conservation Foundation. John is responsible for executing on Authority and Living City Foundation priorities by working in partnership with funding partners including the province, federal government, municipalities, businesses, community organizations and individual members of the community to ensure successful development and delivery of programs that achieve the Living City Vision (the TRCA Strategic Plan).

Prior to joining TRCA, John was the Deputy City Manager of Planning and Growth Management at the City of Vaughan and a Director and General Manager at Ontario Realty Corporation. In his previous roles, John managed a number of inter-disciplinary teams on land development, land use policy and infrastructure projects across Ontario including efforts to advance and facilitate the first phase of transit oriented development in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. John has acted as a representative on provincial advisory committees and in 2015 was appointed to serve on the Advisory Panel for the Coordinated Review of the Growth Plan, Greenbelt Plan, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan and Niagara Escarpment Plan. John is a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Association for Impact Assessment.

 

Paul Ainslie
CHAIR, TORONTO AND REGION CONSERVATION AUTHORITY’S (TRCA) BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Paul Ainslie is the Toronto City Councillor for Scarborough-Guildwood.

Paul is an effective member of Toronto City Council. He brings a broad perspective to City Hall, with more than 25 years of experience at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels of government.

Paul is the Chair of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) Board of Directors, responsible for the organization’s strategic direction and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.

As a Member of Toronto City Council’s Executive Committee, Chair of Scarborough Community Council, Member of the Economic Development Committee, as well as holding membership with a number of Boards, Paul diligently works to ensure Toronto’s residents are well represented.

 

Vitumbiko Mhango
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, PARKS DEVELOPMENT, CITY OF TORONTO

Vitumbiko Mhango is a Registered Professional Planner and full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planning, currently working as a Senior Project Manager within the Parks Development and Capital Projects Branch of the City of Toronto. Ms. Mhango is a graduate of the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning, with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Honours Planning and a Masters of Planning. Vitumbiko possesses planning experience working in the private and public sectors, and is passionate about using her career to positively contribute to community-building and creating a good quality of life.

 

Wendy Evans
PRESIDENT, EVANS & COMPANY CONSULTANTS INC.

Wendy Evans is the founder of Evans and Company Consultants Inc., which provides marketing, financial and management services to a broad range of clients. Wendy has both chaired and been a director of several industry initiatives, including the Retail Learning Initiative and the Ontario Retail Sector Strategy. She is a director on the board of the North West Company, is a Member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Ted Rogers School of Business, is on the Corporate Cabinet of the Conservation Foundation, and has served on a number of other corporate and not-for-profit boards including Sun Life Financial Trust, The Canadian Cancer Society, The Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee, and as President and Chair of the Granite Club. Evans received her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.

 

Raymond Nicolini
PRESIDENT, KING STATION GP INC.

Raymond Nicolini is the President of King Station GP Inc. Raymond has 29 years of experience in real estate finance/brokerage, acquisitions, asset management, planning, development and construction. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Real Estate Development at Counsel Corporation, and co-managed an Opportunity Fund that specialized in distressed investments.
